‘A real home’ : inside the dementia unit with no long, white corridors

Videri Australia was recently featured in The Senior, with reporter Carla Mascarenhas given an exclusive tour inside our Cherrybrook home ahead of its opening on 31 May.

The story captures what sets Videri apart, a real home, not an institution. Ten residents living together in a household designed around the rhythms of daily life, where the kitchen, dining and lounge are the heart of the home, and where Homemakers truly know the people they live alongside. No long corridors. No meal trays. Just life, continuing to be lived.
