Videri expands, hopes to see its model grow too

Videri Australia, reimagining how Australians live beyond a diagnosis of dementia, is preparing to open its 24th home — Videri Cherrybrook, designed for people living beyond a diagnosis of dementia, neurodegenerative conditions and frailty.

Set in a quiet suburban street, the 10-bedroom home reflects Videri’s belief that life should continue beyond a diagnosis: open-plan kitchens that invite food curiosity, a fireside sitting area, a whiskey room for catching up with loved ones, and a garden made for shared meals. Every space is intentionally designed around the individuality of the people who will call it home.

“It’s a one-size-fits-one, not a one-size-fits-all,” said Videri founder and Chief Experience Officer Tamar Krebs.

With Videri planning to double its footprint over the next three years, CEO Leah Gabolinscy added: “We’re proud of the solution that we have, which is not solving it 100 beds at a time, but solving it 10 beds at a time, in a meaningful way.”
